I was so excited to open my space in a local interiors shop a few weeks ago. I’ve had a lot of fun watching what customers have purchased and adding new things to my space. In addition to that retail space, I also wanted to have an online presence selling some of the things that I like to create. If I did nothing all day long but dream up things to create and then make them, I’d consider myself pretty lucky.
This week, I was able to create enough items to open my online etsy store, wreath on the door. I started with topiaries that I have created. If you’ve read some of my previous posts, you know how much I love topiaries. I have had a great time these past few weeks seeking out the materials and creating unique and interesting topiaries.
I’ve also learned that selling things online is very different from selling them in an actual shop. I’m paying special attention to what I’m selling online to make sure they are things that will ship economically and not be damaged during shipment. I’ve also spent a good deal of time photographing my topiaries to make sure they look as good as possible. If you have a moment, please take a look at my etsy store and let me know what you think. I’m hoping to add other products, especially handmade items, in the coming weeks. You can visit my etsy shop at https://www.etsy.com/shop/Wreathonthedoor?ref=l2-shopheader-name.
